Supremacy ex Wojha

Trainer Marco Botti
Yearling Colt Bay
This colt was purchased at the Tattersalls Somerville Sale in September 2026. The primary
reason he made our initial inspection list was his pedigree, which immediately caught our
attention.
He is out of the Pivotal mare Mojha. Pivotal is one of the most influential broodmare sires of his
generation, having produced over 60% runners to winners and 194 black-type performers,
including Mayson, Mabs Cross, Hydaringea, Cracksman and One Master, among many others.
Mojha has already produced a horse rated 100, Punita Arora, who came very close to achieving
top-class status when finishing behind several highly talented horses. She subsequently won a
Listed race and has now entered the broodmare ranks. Her daughter, Asheyra, is entered in both
the Rockfel Stakes and Cheveley Park Stakes, further highlighting just how current and high performing
this family is.
For us, this made the pedigree particularly exciting. It is a fashionable, active family with proven
ability at the top level.
When we inspected the colt, we were genuinely gobsmacked by his presence. He is an extremely
well-rounded horse with a good shape, plenty of quality and, importantly, very good movement.
In fact, he came close to being taken off our list because we felt he was likely to make £50,000+.
The one factor that helped keep his potential purchase price within reach was his sire,
Supremacy, who is yet to establish a high-performing runner. However, he is a stallion that
Marco has always liked, and his stock are beginning to show plenty of promise. Only two weeks
before the sale, a Marco Botti Supremacy debutant won by an impressive 4½ lengths at
Newmarket, further reinforcing our belief in the stallion.
We were therefore delighted — and, quite frankly, surprised — to secure this colt for the price
we did. We believe he represents exceptional value at his purchase price, particularly given the
quality of his physical and the strength and depth of his pedigree.
He has now headed to Lambourn, where he will have a period of light exercise and turnout,
allowing him to switch off after the demands of the sales preparation. He will then come to
Prestige Place in October, where he will commence his breaking and pre-training.
He has been kept in all of the sales races, and the plan is to go pot hunting with him in 2027 and
win as much prize money as possible. He looks the type of colt that could run frequently and
would take it. With his pedigree, physical and the price we were able to secure him for, we feel
he is an extremely exciting prospect with plenty of upside.
